Dear Parents and Families,

On behalf of the staff at Beach Grove, we are wishing you and your loved ones a safe and happy thanksgiving. Please stay well and may your tummies still get a taste of some yummy food.

 

Earlier we sent a message out a message asking parents to register at hotlunches.net (see below). Just to be clear, we do not have any plans for hot-lunches at this time. We wanted to encourage parents to register so that our PAC could email out information to you from time to time.

 

Dear Beach Grove Elementary Families,

Please go to https://beachgrove.hotlunches.net/admin/ and register your children for the 2020-2021 school year.

All sign-in information including the temporary password is listed on the site.

Once you have signed up on the hotlunches page, the Beach Grove Elementary PAC will be able to email you from bge.pac@gmail.com. This means that you will know when PAC sponsored events are happening at the school, dates of PAC meetings (please join us!) and if and when the Fun Lunch program is able to be up and running again.

Our next PAC meeting will be on Wednesday, September 30th at 6:30 pm at the Amphitheatre in the primary playground. Please RSVP to bge.pac@gmail.com to let us know if you will be able to attend. We need to keep track of numbers to maintain the proper number of people per gathering as per BC Health and Safety COVID 19 guidelines.

If you are attending the PAC meeting, please bring a chair and wear a mask.

Photo retake day will be on  Oct 29 in the afternoon.

 

Just a reminder we are trying to limit items being brought to school during the day. Please make sure that you are helping your child make sure that they have packed all the items they need (planners, homework, lunches, forks, spoons, water bottles..etc).

 

Halloween will look different for us this year. We are finalizing plans for the school and students. Stay tuned for more information.

We will also be sending out more information about Parent-Teacher interviews later this week. Teachers will be conducting interviews either by phone or by Zoom. There will be an early dismissal on Oct 21 and Oct 22 at 2:00pm to accommodate interviews.

 

Our school raised $538 for The Terry Fox Foundation. Thank you to everyone for their contributions!
