Dear Parents and Families,

I hope you are enjoying your weekend. Thank you to all those who were able to come to our Remembrance Day Assembly and to those who were able to support our fundraising efforts for the Canadian Legion.

Thank You to families who came out to our first of what we hope will be, Annual Family Photo Night. We were sold out and raised approximately $500 that will be used to fund some of our Grade 7 Grad activities. $500 is about what the yearbooks cost for our Grade 7’s, so this is a big help!

An extra big thank you to Jane Swinglehurst for her dedication to making this night a success!

As stated in a previous email sent out parents, please note that in attempt to avoid conflicting with the community carolling event on Dec 17, we have moved the Christmas Concert to Wednesday Dec 18. Please see the dates and times below.

Matinee Performance: Wednesday Dec 18 at 1:45pm
Evening Performance: Wednesday Dec 18 at 6:00pm

There will be more info to come, but we wanted to let you know that Report Cards will be digital this year. There will not be any “paper copies” sent home and parents will be able to access report cards via “parent connect”.

As we stated last week, please help us remind our students that everyone should be walking their wheels once they arrive to school (this also includes our main sidewalk in front of our school on 17a Ave). We are trying to take extra care to make sure that we are preventing accidental collisions. We recognize that many kids feel confident on their wheels and may need help understanding why we are asking them to do this. Often it is not the fault of the person on the bike, board, etc…but the walker who may not see or expect someone on their wheels.

Don’t forget to check out our digital lost and found below. Please help us re-unite these items with their owners. Anything not claimed by the Christmas Concert will be donated to charity.
