Dear Parents and Families,

Out of respect for the memory of the 215 children who were found at the Kamloops (Tk’emlúps) Residential School, the many children who have yet to be found, the survivors of Residential Schools and their families, some members of the Beach Grove Staff will be wearing orange tomorrow. Students are more than welcome to wear an orange shirt as well. We know that many students already have an orange shirt. Due to the short notice and the spontaneous way this thought evolved, families should not feel obligated to purchase an orange shirt if they do not have one.

There will also be a sign placed next to our newly planted cedar tree for the next week as a further sign of respect.

School supply lists for next year are ready. Parents have the option of purchasing the items on their own or ordering from schoolstart.ca. Please see the supply lists below. We have also included the lists on our school website at https://bg.deltasd.bc.ca/school-supplies-list/
