Dear Parents and Families,
I hope that you are having a relaxing Sunday morning.
I wanted to let you know that Pink Shirt Day is coming up on February 24. We are continually trying to find ways to emphasize kindness at school and hope that as many parents, staff and students show support on February 24th. Just a reminder that participation is optional. We recognize that some kids just don’t like the colour pink and we know that they can show kindness and support in other ways.
Work has started on our playground. The kids and staff are looking forward to when installation is complete.
Some of you may have heard that Ms. Zahn is anticipated to be off until Spring Break. I am happy to announce that Mr. Wong will be taking over for until she returns. Please help me welcome Mr. Wong to our school community.
We are continually putting in efforts to make sure that we are doing the best we can to make sure that our community and your children are as safe as possible from COVID-19.
Please help us by…
- Maintaining at least 2 meters from adults and class line-ups during drop-off and pick-up.
- Wear a mask when you are on school grounds.
- Leaving the school grounds promptly after dropping off or picking up your child from school.
- Ensuring that you do not interact with others outside of your household.
We thank you for your continued support.
Change of clothes
As mentioned last week, we have been noticing an increase in kids slipping and getting themselves wet during recess and lunch. We are trying to avoid having to have parents drop of changes of clothing. Please help us by making sure that your child has a change of clothes here at school.
