Dear Parents and Families,

Happy Super Bowl Sunday! I hope that you have a great time watching the game (or commercials). Thank you as always for taking the time to read this little newsletter.

 

February’s PAC Meeting has been moved to Tuesday, Feb 11th at 6:30. This was due to my request. My son is in grade 7 (going into grade 8 next year) and it turns out that my he has a parent info night for his future highschool that I felt that I should attend. Thank you to the PAC Exec for making this accommodation for me.

 

 

 

February 26th, 2020 is Pink T-Shirt Day.

Beach Grove PAC is selling pink t-shirts for kindness month.
Youth sizing XS, S, M, L, XL
Price – $15
Orders/payment due by February 12th.

Payment by e-transfer or cheque made payable to Beach Grove Elementary PAC (cheques can be dropped off at the office).
All funds raised goes toward funding field trips, guest speakers, new technology, playground improvements and much more!

Thank you to all the parents who made it out to our Telus Wise presentation. It was a great turn out and we look forward to having our student workshops coming up.

 

 

Please help us welcome Ms. Churko to our teaching staff at Beach Grove. Ms. Churko will be working with several teachers on a part time basis.

 

 

If possible, please send your child with boots during rainy days. Despite our best efforts, some of our students are very drawn to playing in puddles. We simply want to avoid phone calls home for changes of clothing. It may even be wise to send your kids to school with a change of clothes (for those just in case days).
