Dear Parents and Families,
Thank you for taking the time to read our little newsletter. We hope that these little snippets of information prove to be helpful to you and your family.

We are focusing on kindness for the month of February. Our students are being exposed to a variety of topics related to kindness, diversity and acceptance. One of the ways we are raising awareness of kindness is by encouraging kids to perform random acts of kindness. At the end of the week we draw names to acknowledge those who did a great job at being kind. Congratulations to our first batch of winners who received a voucher for a 7-11 slurpee.

Some of our kids (grades 2-7) will get a chance to learn more about internet safety, with the focus of being both safe and kind when they are online. Thank you to our PAC for helping to arrange for Telus Wise to come to our school.

DON’T FORGET…February 26th, 2020 is Pink T-Shirt Day.

Beach Grove PAC is selling pink t-shirts for kindness month.

Just a reminder that February’s PAC Meeting has been moved to Tuesday, Feb 11th at 6:30. This was due to my request. My son is in grade 7 (going into grade 8 next year) and it turns out that my he has a parent info night for his future highschool that I felt that I should attend. Thank you to the PAC Exec for making this accommodation for me.
