Dear Parents and Families,

Just a short Coyote’s Howl this week. I would really like to thank you for all your support with our recent PAC and library fundraisers. I would also like to thank everyone for their continued support with our COVID safety measures. As a school, we have been very lucky so far and we hope to continue to be as safe as possible.

Please help us by reminding your children who use scooters, bikes, boards etc, to get to school that once they arrive on school grounds that they should be walking their wheels. Our hope is simply to avoid accidental collisions.

We also need your help with reminding our students not to cut through the school parking lot before and after school. These are high traffic times and again, our hope is to avoid accidental collisions. We have noticed that much of our student traffic is from our intermediate students hoping to take the shortest route to their line-up, but we would rather ensure their safety and have them take a slightly longer route around the school. We appreciate your help and support with this.

Focusing on the positive

Did you know December 1 was Giving Tuesday, the global day of giving aimed at encouraging small acts of kindness? Why not encourage your family to write letters of gratitude to those who serve your community – first responders, librarians, grocery workers, postal workers are just some examples of people working in our communities who would love to receive a letter of appreciation for the work that they do.

Our water refill station is fixed. Please help your child remember to pack a water bottle.
